CARAL the oldest civilization of America, was formed in Peru's north-central area between 3000 and 1800 years B.C.
From archaeologists studies, they are evidence of a civilization that took into account sustainability, land management, care of watersheds and the use of technologies seismic resistant called “shicras”.
It found evidence that the fall of the CARAL civilization was due to an event of climate change, which forced them to abandon the city.
Petroglyphs found above the Nazca Lines with various forms, including SPIRAL, which also have been later found in Nazca, Moche, Chavin and even the Inca culture.
Inspired by this Peruvian symbol and also it was used for various ancient cultures around the world, we design the logo for WECDRR 2016.
On based on the mathematical design of the Spiral Aúrea, various compositions of lines and colors were developed, until we reach our 5nal design; which we hope to represent the continuity of human life in our beautiful blue planet, overcoming all sorts of disasters.
